Orange County Optometrist
Dr. Nicoletta Stefanidis graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California, in 1989 receiving her degree of optometry and then completed a one-year residency program at the Veterans Administration in Los Angeles with an emphasis in geriatric and rehabilitative care.
She has been practicing at Harvard Eye Associates since 1998 after practicing in the South Orange County community of Laguna Hills for eight years prior. She also has a Bachelor of Science in visual science and a Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego.
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry as well as a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, and the Orange County Optometric Association. She has extensive knowledge in the area of primary care, contact lens fitting, and pre and post-operative care of surgical eye conditions.
Dr. Stefanidis was one of the first California optometrists to be therapeutically drug certified which has enabled her to care not only for the refractive needs of her patients but also for the ocular health needs of her patients.
She treats eye infections, dry eyes, and is glaucoma certified as well. Trained extensively by the medical doctors at Harvard Eye Associates, she has perfected pre- and post-operative care of their cataract and laser vision correction patients.
Dr. Stefanidis enjoys walking, reading, and musical theatre. She resides in San Juan Capistrano with her husband and two sons.
