Orange County Optometrist
Dr. Isabell Choi graduated with her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2006 after receiving her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine.
Her training includes rotations at the Tohatchi Health Center/Gallup Indian Medical Center in New Mexico, Veterans Administration Clinic in Las Vegas, and the San Diego Center for Vision Care.
Dr. Choi has worked in private practice for over seven years. She has been adjunct clinical faculty for the Western University of Health Sciences and the Southern California College of Optometry.
Most recently, she was the Clinical Director for TLC Laser Eye Centers at Harvard Eye Associates and specialized in refractive surgeries such as LASIK, PRK, ICL, and the KAMRA inlay.
Dr. Choi is a member of the California Optometric Association and the Orange County Optometric Society. She has served as President on the board of the Orange County Optometric Society for two terms and was awarded Young Optometrist of the Year by the California Optometric Association in 2014.
She also served as the Chair of the California Optometric Association Membership Committee. She is certified in glaucoma and lacrimal dilation and irrigation.
Dr. Choi lives in Orange County with her husband, son, and daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, skiing/snowboarding, and traveling. She is trilingual, speaking English, Korean and clinical Spanish.
