Orange County Optometrist
Dr. Krista R. Gardner is a licensed optometrist who has been practicing primary eye care since 2017. She is committed to providing comprehensive and personalized care to help her patients achieve optimal vision and maintain their eye health. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara, before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern California College of Optometry.
Following optometry school, Dr. Gardner further honed her clinical skills through a one-year residency at the Southern Arizona VA in Tucson, AZ, focusing on ocular disease and low vision rehabilitation. This experience allowed her to gain advanced knowledge in managing complex eye conditions and providing rehabilitation services to individuals with visual impairments.
With a strong foundation in both medical and primary eye care, Dr. Gardner is passionate about helping patients preserve their eye health and enhance their quality of life through individualized care. She is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry to ensure her patients receive the best possible care.
Outside of work, Dr. Gardner enjoys spending time with her husband, two toddler-aged kids, and two dogs. While cooking has become a bit less exciting with toddlers in tow, she still loves exploring new recipes and sharing meals with her family. Dr. Gardner also enjoys traveling with her loved ones.
