Dr. Brian Kim is a *fantastic*, compassionate, and truly gifted surgeon.I am so blessed that I have Dr. Kim to guide me.I had a couple of large cataracts that needed to be remedied.Dr. Kim restored my eyesight to a level of clarity and acuity in both eyes that I havent experienced in at least 30+ years.Each procedure (left and right eye) was fast, painless and actually quite interesting in the method and technique used to map my left and right eye individual characteristics during surgery.Dr. Kim is affiliated with Harvard Eye and is a world class facility with the latest diagnostic equipment and staffed with really nice people who understand that eyesight is your most precious resource.

At this time of year, we tend to reflect on those for whom we are most grateful. I am grateful for my vision and for the physician that was able to save my eyesight, Dr Ahmad. Approximately 18 mos ago I managed to contract shingles in my right eye. (Make sure you get your shingles shot after 50!) I was miserable. In addition, I had developed significant cataracts in both eyes. Dr. Ahmad took a very pragmatic approach prescribing various eye ointments, suspensions and drops. The ultimate goal was to resolve/minimize the corneal scarring so that I could undergo cataract surgery without another bout of shingles. I am happy to say that I was able to undergo cataract surgery this summer and my vision is better than ever. (Now I can recognize Dr. Ahmad when he enters the room - slight exaggeration!) I am grateful for Dr Ahmads clinical skills but even more so for his empathy. I didnt feel like a number. I am grateful that he was able to treat me during this difficult time.
