I just had a Chalazion removed today at noon by Dr. Ohanesian, and Im almost all the way better. He was so professional, perceptive, gentle, and personable. I cant say enough positive things about my visit. The entire thing (including time in the waiting room) took an hour and cost me under $200. I would highly recommend Dr. Ohanesian because of his excellence and efficiency. Oh, and the waiting room has coffee and cookies! PS i just watched the you tube of a chalazion removal, and it was about 100 times more aggressive and terrible that what youll experience here. That just made me so happy with my decision.

I recently completed cataract surgery ,on both eyes, with Dr. Ohanesian with excellent results of vision in both eyes. An Opthalamologist informed me that I had serious cataracts in both eyes after I failed the vision test for renewing my drivers license at the DMV. I had no idea who to trust with my vision and went online to see what I could find. Because of living in San Juan Capistrano I was looking for facilities nearby. Finding Harvard Eye Associates located very visably across from Saddleback Memorial Hospital, in San Clemente , I figured it showed a degree of confidence and professionalism on their part. I have nothing but praise for Dr. O as he is fondly referred to by staff and clients. The entire staff at Harvard Eye show a high degree of knowledge and professionalism. To me, your eyesight is probably the most important asset we have. If you have a need, such as I had, I recommend you give them a call - Im sure you will be pleased with the results.David A. Hughes

Four weeks ago I had one eye repaired for cataracts by Doctor Ohanesian. The results were more than expected, faster than I expected. The results have been outstanding. Follow up was excellent and attention to results was reviewed throughout my recovery time. Am I happy, cant wait until the other eye is repaired. This is the day after my second cataract surgery at the San Clemente location, and everyone gets high marks for performance. Unlike other reviewers, I found the front office personnel entirely agreeable and on-the-ball. I am totally in admiration of the training and execution of my surgeon, Diana Kersten and the capabilities and direction of her assistant, Lisa Jones. My appointment yesterday was delayed by a couple of hours, but fortunately that in no way was an inconvenience (I always try to bring a good book or magazine to any doctors appointment). The OR staff, top-to-bottom was great: friendly, efficient, and seemingly prepared for anything. My vision is already greatly improved in both eyes and will continue to improve, Im sure. Highest recommendation.

The surgical procedure on my eyes was handled with the most professionalism possible. The surgical coordinator, Lori, was excellent. All the surgical assistants were friendly, reassuring, and confident. Dr. Jacobs is the best. I have the utmost confidence in his ability and would highly recommend him and his staff for any eye surgeries.
