I recently went in for cataract surgery at the Alicia Surgery Center and I hope that by sharing my experience it may alleviate some fears that others may have. First, let me say I am just about 40 hours post-surgery as I write this and I feel that my experience has been excellent. From the moment I walked into the surgery center my fears were addressed by caring, friendly nurses and doctors who saw to my needs and were quick with assurances and support. I remember nothing of actual surgery because my anesthesiologist, Dr. Ganan took good care of me. My surgeon was DR. Teymoorian from Harvard Eye Associates and when I saw him earlier today for my follow-up exam we were both delighted by the fact that my right eye vision had already improved significantly since the surgery. (This seemed incredible to me!) After the surgery, I had mild discomfort for about 4 hours. I took Tylenol and stayed quiet and gradually the discomfort went away. After a quiet day, I had a restful, pain free night. By the day after surgery, I felt good enough to drive and my eyes were close to normal. (This absolutely amazed me!) Now as I look to cataract surgery for my left eye in a couple of weeks, I am confident that my doctors and the caring staff at Alicia Surgery Center will again take good care of me. For anyone who needs this surgery I cannot recommend Dr. Teymoorian and the staff at the surgery center more highly.

Great experience with Dr. Diane Kersten. Dr. Kersten diagnosed and explained my vision problem after extended tests during initial consult visit and explained the procedure that will correct the problem and let me know what to expect. She performed keratectomy on my right eye to remove the scarring tissue to clear my vision, 10 days ago. Right away the next day, my vision had improved tremendously. Excellent Dr. with with expert pair of hands and great bedside manner. I am super happy with the outcome of my procedure and highly recommend Dr. Kersten and Harvard Eye Associates.

What a great Dr associates!! Dr Teymoorian is caring professional. I had cataract removal with lens replacement glaucoma removal removal of my stigmatisim . It was so quick, easy just a little discomfort. My 1st surgery (left eye) was 45 minutes.. 15 minute surgery. The staff at Aliscia Surgery Center was funny caring. A shout out to Mary Anne , Tony, Cindy, Jay R, Rachel , KB, Courtney (my late night date) Dr. Ganan. (Not a REAL date just a joke). He took me down memory lane with his entertaining songs. The second surgery (right eye) was approximately the same surgery time 15-20 minutes. After care was easier than I expected. The second surgery was 2 weeks later. If for any reason you hesitate to have cataracts removed please dont hesitate. I now see the light. Dr Teymoorisn explained everything in detail did a great job. After the first surgery everything looked bright white with vivid colours. I would cover the left eye everything looked beige. Didnt realise how the cataracts had distorted my field of vision.. call Dr Teymoorisn at Harvard Eye Center. Oh, Amy who did all the paperwork was awesome!!! Thank you so.o very much Dr Teymoorian staff!!

Wonderful experience and care. Dr. Teymoorian has been managing my glaucoma for years and when he saw my cataracts getting worse along with my glaucoma and astigmatism he suggested cataract surgery. Just had the first eye done and his surgery yielded fantastic results, clear bright vision without the need for glasses, I needed glasses ever since I was 5. Can hardly wait to get the second eye done. Dr. Teymoorian and the staff made the process really simple and Im impressed with the results. Definitely recommend him to anyone with vision issues.
